Our Consignment Process - Simplified!

Posted by Carla Benning on

We wanted to write a blog post to make it as SIMPLE as possible. Our full Consignment Agreement can be read here, but here's the gist of how it works to consign with us.

We have two categories for our consignors - our Donate group and our Return group.

Donate Group: you're not too attached to your items, and are alright with us choosing what we'd like to sell for you and donating the items that don't work. Items that don't sell after the season are ok to be donated as well.   Return Group: you would rather keep track of exactly what we accept and what we don't, and would like your items back if they don't sell.
1) Drop off anytime during business hours, as many items as you'd like.  1) Drop off Tuesday-Friday, and limit your drop off to 20 items.
2) We'll take down your name, check on your consignor account to see what we owe you and then tag and price your items to get them out on the racks within 48 hours.  2) Come back within 7 days (or even later that day) to pick up any items we chose not to accept. If you don't come back within 7 days, we need to clear our storage space and will pass your 'no thank you' items on for donation.
3) Check back with us anytime to see what items we've sold for you. We can pay you out in cash, or will also do e-transfers for larger amounts.  3) We'll take down your name, check on your consignor account to see what we owe you and then tag and price your items to get them out on the racks within 48 hours.
4) Relax! You've let go of the items that are no longer serving you. Live your life! Do great things!  4) Check back with us anytime to see what items we've sold for you. We can pay you out in cash, or will also do e-transfers for larger amounts.
5) 2 months after you drop off, you need to call us to request that we gather your unsold items together and let us know when you plan to pick up. You are responsible for remembering this date. If we don't hear from you by 90 days after your drop off, your items may be pulled from the rack and sent on for donation.
6) Return to the store to pick up your unsold items and clear out any payments from your account.
